Jotun - Treolje
- Decking Oil
- Treolje wood oil is a waterborne oil that prevents wood from greying & cracking. Use it for the treatment of decking and garden furniture.
- Available in three colours, clear, golden and green.
- Coverage 8 - 10 m2 per litre
- May be applied to new or old wood.
- Apply one coat on new wood. Two coats on old wood after wire brushing.
- Dries in approximately 6 hours.
- In three litre tins.
Optimal
- Wood exterior stain
Optimal is a water based stain with an opaque finish. It has a longer lifetime than Butinox 1 with up to 8 years between treatments.- Maximum performance and longest life of the range. Up to 12 years between treatments.
- Optimal is a specilly mixed alkyd/acrylic opaque water borne woodstain
- Moisture vapour permeable, allows wood to breathe
- Range of attractive colours from subtle tomes to match natural woods to bright bold colours.
Butinox
- Wood stain
BUTINOX is a range of three high performance protective woodstains. They are all Moisture Vapour Permeable so the wood can breathe.
Butinox 1
is a translucent stain that allows the grain of the wood to be seen through the stain. Butinox 1 is our best selling woodstain.
- Moisture vapour permeable, allows wood to breathe
- Range of attractive colours. Low build-sheen finish.
- Correctly applied will not leech or crack
- Highly water repellent. Alkyd based.
- Simple preparation. Two coats lasts up to 5 years
- Protects against decay. Single coat maintenance
- Contains penetrating Chinese wood oils

- Basecoat + 2 coats lasts for up to 8 years. Easy maintenance.
BUTINOX 2 is a stain with an opaque finish so the grain is not visible
The long alkyd oils content of in Butinox 2 results in optimal penetration and stabilising of weathered wood. The solvent content allows application for cold/damp weather, allowing the natural movements (expansion and contraction) of the wood, without peeling or flaking.
BUTINOX 3 is a water based stain with an opaque finish. It has a longer lifetime than Butinox 1 with up to 8 years between treatments.
