Tallbo Log Cabins

The Tallbo range of cabins is available in two basic configurations. Both are constructed from 58mm thick logs, and have double glazed doors and windows.
Both ranges have a suspended pine clad ceiling with a cavity behind for insulation, and solid pine floorboards with a blind floor beneath for floor insulation.
Unlike most log cabin manufacturers our Tallbo cabins also have the option of fully insulated walls with 120mm of insulation behind interior wall cladding.
The interior cladding itself may be flexibly selected from a choice of pine, particle board or gypsum plasterboard.

Tallbo cabins do not need to sit on a concrete slab foundation. Instead the cabin sits on concrete posts embedded in the earth.
The floor joists are strong enough to support the floor without the support of a concrete slab.
The benefit for the user is two fold. First, post foundations are considerably cheaper to construct than a slab. Secondly, the secret to maintaining wood in a healthy condition is good ventilation. With our system air is allowed to freely circulate right under the cabin which will discourage rot and fungus.

• Tallbo 15 to 33 cabins have a log length of 4m and have an area ranging from 15 to 33 square metres.
  Typical uses for Tallbo 15 to 33 cabins are as garden chalets or home offices.
• The Tallbo 35 to 60 cabins have a log length of 4.9m and have an area ranging from 35 to 60 square metres. They are slightly taller than the Tallbo 15-33 range of cabins, and have 1.2m high windows compared to 1m, and a ceiling 11cm higher.
  Typical uses for Tallbo 35 to 60 cabins are as holiday cabins, site offices or granny annexes.

Skalman Log Cabins

The Skalman range of cabins are constructed from a sturdy 34mm log and come complete with a double glazed window and door, and pine floorboards. The Skalman 10 model may optionally be fitted with a terrace, and a sauna cabin.
