Currently the size limit set on a mobile home is 65' (20m) long X 22' wide (6.8m) X 10' (3.05m) high.

In order to qualify your home has to be capable of being transported in no more than two pieces

Many of these homes were constructed a long time ago and are now reaching the end of their useful life both in terms of maintenance and efficiency.

If you are thinking of replacing your mobile home, or setting up a new one where permission is available for a new site, SLCD are pleased to be able to offer a stylish alternative - A log mobile home.

Available in eleven different models using the same proven technology as our popular range of Tallbo log cabins, our Mobo series uses the unique Knut-lok (c) system to permit easy dismantling of the assembled cabin for transportation and reassembly elsewhere.

The Mobo range of park homes have a similar specification to our Tallbo cabins. They come with double glazed windows and doors, insulated walls, and internal walls and doors. They are available either as kits, or as completed mobile homes on a wheeled steel chassis.

Because mobile homes are not liable for VAT the Mobo range is especially cost effective.

Our mobile homes can be used as commercial buildings as well as residential ones. Pictured here is a Mobo cabin used as a cafe at a fishing lake.

Our mobile homes can be supplied either as kits for assembly on site, or as ready built units complete with kitchen bathroom, white goods, central heating and even optionally furniture.
